Contract Seed Production Coordinator
Full time, year round
Wage range $35,000 to $52,500 annual salary
Reports to: Merchandising Manager
Position Summary: As High Mowing Organic Seeds expands our offerings of new and unique varieties we seek a dedicated person to oversee our contract seed productions. This person will support our Product Development team in finding reliable production capacity for both new and existing varieties by continuing to expand and strengthen our network of organic seed growers. This position will be responsible for initiating contracts, acquiring and sending stock seed and contracts to growers, visiting crops during the growing season, communicating throughout the season with growers and with relevant colleagues at High Mowing, and helping to usher contract seed through testing and cleaning phases preliminary to sales.
Outright Purchasing Specialist
Full time, year round
Wage range $29,000 to $43,500 annual salary
Reports to: Merchandising Manager
Position Summary: As High Mowing continues to grow at a fast pace we need a talented person to manage our outright purchasing. This position has responsibility for ordering seeds and accessories and regular communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery of orders. This position is also the main contact with the sales team ensuring information about availability is accurate and updated.
