Meat Cutting & Meat Production Courses

Vermont Tech’s Institute for Applied Agriculture and Food Systems  is offering Meat Cutting and Meat Production courses this summer. The Meat Cutting courses focus on safety and sanitation, poultry processing, technology, processing and fabrication and advanced livestock processing. Completion of each short course results in a certificate, completion of the entire series lead to a skilled meat cutters certificate and an apprenticeship. Courses in beef production, sheep and goat production, poultry and pork production, rotational grazing, animal reproduction and others are offered throughout the summer and fall.
