Operations Manager and Coordinator needed. This is a unique opportunity to manage a not for profit Cooperative Agricultural Business in the local farm and food industry. The Operations Manager / Coordinator collaborates with key business partners including local farms, NYC chefs, butchers and groceries as well as processing facilities, the Board of Directors and a sales manager.
The successful candidate will manage and improve the Cooperative’s operations and accounting systems, customer service and farm relations. The candidate needs to be a proven self-starter with demonstrated conceptual thinking, creative problem solving and innovation. Strong analytic and organizational skills, especially in assessing financial details and managing schedules are required. The candidate will have the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously and to pay strong attention to detail and manage day-to-day operations.
