Join Rural Vermont and raw milk producers from all over VT to prepare for the introduction of a better raw milk bill in 2014!

Who should come? Anyone (and everyone) who has sold raw milk in the past, is currently selling raw milk, or has aspirations of selling in the future.

What to expect? A full-day of information sharing, consensus building, strategy brainstorming, and more! Keynote by Mark McAfee of Organic Pastures, a resource fair, and a networking lunch catered by Chef’s Market, plus snacks from Healthy Living Market.

A full day away from the farm? If we’re going to be successful at passing a new bill, then it’s critical we have input and participation from everyone that changes to the law will impact (and that includes everyone selling any quantity of raw milk). And while we can’t help with relief milkers, we are offering help with childcare, local accommodations, carpooling, and a free lunch! Note your interest when registering.

What’s the “Milk Mixer”? After the hard work of the day is done, it’ll be time for fun – and dessert! Farmers are invited to stay, and the raw-milk-loving-public is invited to join us, for apple pie from Champlain Orchards, topped with homemade ice cream. Invite your customers and get them involved in Rural Vermont’s efforts to expand raw milk sales and access!

Want more info? Check out the agenda, read the event press release, visit our Facebook event page (and share it!), or check out the event poster (please print and post in your town!). Spread the word!!

Advance registration required. Register online hereor call the office (802) 223-7222.
