A chef in NYC is looking for someone to make deliveries from Benson, VT to NYC. The chef buys meat from farms in the region, has them slaughtered at Over the Hill in Benson, and does the butchering himself.
The meat would need to be picked up on Tuesday afternoon from Benson and delivered to NYC on Wednesday, mid morning. The shipment takes up approx. 3 pallet spaces. It is carcasses and “combo bins.”
The chef receives a similar shipment from PA which run about $150 per delivery. He figures someone in VT should be able to do it within the same price range.
