Internship Positions Available at Merck Forest and Farmland Center
May 14th to November 16th, 2012
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the concepts and practices of grass-fed livestock production, demonstration gardening, environmental education, trail maintenance and some carpentry. Interns are also encouraged to pursue an independent project while they are with us.
Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old—dedicated, motivated, physically active people—who enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from a hard day’s work outdoors in all types of weather. Experience in the outdoors with education, equipment and/or animals is preferred, but not necessary. Interns also need a strong willingness to learn and openness to teach others.
To apply, email a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
