12/8: Practical Food Safety Workshop @ Wood’s in Brandon

Write a Practical Food Safety Plan for your farm before the 2012 season!  It’s NOT TOO LATE to join UVM Extension’s and NOFA-Vermont’s Practical Food Safety Workshop on Wednesday, December 7th at Screaming Ridge Farm in Montpelier OR  Thursday, December 8th at Woods Market Garden in Brandon.

This is a great chance get up to speed on Food Safety concerns while concisely articulating your existing practices that minimize food safety risk while increasing product quality and farm efficiency.   You will leave this workshop with a concise plan (for you, your customers and your employees) and many resources! Note:  Although this workshop could help you prepare for a Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) audit certification, it is designed for farmers who do NOT intend to become GAP certified in the near future. The workshop is appropriate for both organic and conventional growers.
