Number of Years Farming: 21+
Number of Acres Farmed: 15
Farm Products: Lamb, Wool
Farming philosophy and practices: We raise a rare breed of sheep that is great for both meat (lamb and mutton) and fiber. We only keep select ewes for breeding. Since they are a rare breed, in-breeding could be a problem so we select for as large a gene pool as possible without compromising the breed standards. They are free range.

Other Skills & Knowledge:
I sell lambs for meat early and sell mutton only to individuals. My best fleece is sold to hand spinners and the rest is used for felting. I am a felter and fiber artist.
