The Intervale Center seeks a part-time Beginning Farmer Specialist to provide project management, business planning, and agricultural training to beginning farmers throughout Vermont. An ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of business management concepts, direct experience in diversified agriculture and a passion for teaching. This position requires strong project management skills, a degree in agricultural development or related field and at least 2 years experience in agricultural development, business development, or management of a farm business. Experience working with English Language Learners is a plus.
