Yoder Farm in Danby, VT, between Rutland and Manchester, is looking for a motivated apprentice for our 2012 season. We can offer room and board and a stipend, and expect 45 hours of work per week. Preferably an apprentice will be ready to start work in April or May and be able to work until December.
We (Ryan and Rachel) grow popcorn, chickens, dry beans, vegetables, and apples, and produce a variety of value added products (salsa, cider and other apple products). Some experience with farming, food processing, and marketing is desireable, but we will look at all submitted resumes.
